| Some venues have large, light-colored surfaces which can be used to project videos during the dance. Examples in video below: Om May 3rd, 2008, at the Oak Marsh Country club, Paul had a request for "Billy Jean." He aimed a projector at the tilted, split ceiling across from the DJ table and projected the Motown 25th anniversary show where Michael Jackson did the moonwalk for the first time. Dancers danced along with the video projection. Other examples: Paul is often asked to provide a projector for a pre-dance powerpoint presentation, wheere the laptop is supplied by the client and Paul provides the cables for the audio and to patch the laptop into his projector. Sometimes the venue provides a video projection screen that can be left set up, on the side, during the dance, which Paul can then make use of with his regular light show. May 2, 2008, at St. Anthony Main Event Center, Paul used the leftover video screen to show off the sound-activated "sparkle lights" he brings to events where clients allow for fun and colorful light shows (Don't forget that the colorless, "quiet class" option exists). |
