$875 includes all of the extras except distant travel, full room mood lighting and monogram projection. New for 2012 is a "$775 base rate" with extra charges for extra services: (Extra charge for over 8 hours of music, for travel over 50 miles from Minneapolis, for ceremony, for video projector, for video screen, for slide show production, for Karaoke with 13" monitor on TV stand, for monogram projection, full room mood lighting, and growing up slide show production). The $775 base rate includes these features: *Personal planning sessions where I explain song choices and everything that can be done throughout every phase of your event. * Classy appearance: Black tux is standard. No business cards are placed on tables or at the bar, no announcements are made regarding bookings, no signs, no advertising of any kind. * Cordless Shure SM-58 Professional microphone for your head table to use. * Dependability: Sound and light gear is maintained and updated regularly by me, personally. I own a complete second sound and light show and have a network of other professional DJ's to cover any emergencies. I bring back up gear to every event as well, own a second vehicle, and have family members ready to assist with any transportation issues. * The most important element of the basic $775 package is my 20 years of experience at over 1200 events. You are welcome to meet with me at a convenient location for a free, sample planning session where I cover the ideas and song surveys under the "Planning" tab. Ask for a custom quote on adding one or more of these to the $775 base rate: 1. Ceremony sound system for amplifying voices and any live instruments. 2. Ceremony DJ services. 3. Conversion of your photos into a "growing up slide show" on a DVD for you to keep. 4. Video projector rental -includes my cables and technical skills hooking it up, etc. 5. Video projection screen rental (mine is only 4' x 5' but is suitable for most rooms). 6. Karaoke show added to the DJ package (TV on stand, 3 mics, song books) 7. Extra time: Beyond 8 hours of music. 8. Creating custom song mixes involving voices mixed with music. The only items that may cost more than $875 for the "all-inclusive" package would be full room mood lighting, monogram projection, and travel outside the Minneapolis area.
